"Your Perfect Day" • Owensboro Bridal Expo

I AM TREMENDOUSLY EXCITED TO SHARE PHOTOS OF MY BOOTH AT THE BRIDAL EXPO WITH YOU GUYS (hence the "caps").

This was my first ever expo, so I had to start it all from scratch. I had no idea how much work that really entailed! There is absolutely NO WAY that I could have pulled this off on my own.. Therefore, I have to throw out some "Thanks" to some very special people in my life.

At the top of the list are my parents and Ian. My father built the beautiful wall that was the main piece in my booth, AND drove it all the way from Lexington to Owensboro for me. He is also always there to tell me to quit whining whenever I start to feel the stress ;).  I'd tell you what ways Ian helped me for the expo, but it'd almost be easier to tell you what he DIDN'T do. I've never had anybody in my life so selflessly willing to help me and want me to succeed. Obviously I could gush over the wonders of second-shooter Ian for hours, but I don't want to do that to anybody so I'll just stop now.

Our close friends Albert and Ashley were also there for a majority time helping us do the "grunt work". Loading and unloading, building and tearing down, putting 500 stickers on 500 lollipops, and just giving me encouraging words - these are the type of friends you feel grateful for every time that you're around them! I have numerous people willing to support me in so many ways (have I mentioned how lucky I am?!) - whether it was letting me borrow a piece, letting me use up their space to store some stuff, or just there for advice. Karen (Ian's sweet mother), Vicky, Chase, Amy Stewart, Andrea (everyone loved your signs!), and all the sweet clients that wrote testimonials or let me display their photos (sorry if I forgot anybody - it sure has been a hectic few weeks)! Thank you all so much!

I met a lot of AMAZING businesses, more than doubled my goal for booking new clients, and hopefully helped get the name JAA Studios out there a bit. I'm so happy that I chose to do this expo!

As a disclaimer, please don't judge me by these photos - I didn't bring the right equipment to get a decent enough photo... But you can at least get an idea of how awesome it looked ;)

THANKS AGAIN TO EVERYBODY THAT STOPPED BY AND/OR SHOWED THEIR SUPPORT! This will be an amazing year for JAA Studios :)
